TOWN HALL MEETING | Update & Progress

Hi Western PA design community!

This is just a quick update on the progress of the town hall meeting!

First we had a great turn out, and a wonderful amount of participation. After some refreshments and hellos, we broke into teams. The teams focused on three topics:

Relax: What activities would get you out? What makes Pittsburgh such a hidden gem?

Create: What should the identity of Western PA look like?

Collaborate: What can IDSA do to contribute to the Western PA design community?

The messages from each team were great and are going to help set a path and identity for our chapter. More information is to come about this event... simple ideas that we can implement like utilizing our blog as a posting for all relevant design events...

SO designers, start keeping us informed about activities we can share. There will be more ideas from the session that we would love to implement...

I would love for those that participated to make some comments about the time spent... let the sharing begin. What was the important thing that you heard?

Take Care and happy designing...
