AIGA "Making Mistakes"

AIGA Pittsburgh is hosting Laurie Rosenwald for a day-long workshop on Saturday, Dec 4 entitled "How to Make Mistakes on Purpose."

Laurie Rosenwald is an author, designer and illustrator, and this is what she says about the workshop:  "‘How to Make Mistakes on Purpose’ is not a creativity workshop. Trying to be creative works about as well as trying to be charming. There can be no syllabus. People are just encouraged to show up.”  For participants, at least, it must be a surprise! Because it’s about surprise. Former participants are asked not to describe it. Omerta! There should be no expectations or preconceptions. Anyone can do it. It is not just for designers. No special skills are required.”

Full details and more about the workshop can be found at http://pittsburgh.aiga.org/mistakes

Tickets for the event are $50 which includes lunch; AIGA members pay $25. There is a group discount of 20% for parties of 6 or more.

IDSA members interested in attending should email us at westpaidsa@gmail.com and we will coordinate to register as a group for the discounted rate and arrange payment to AIGA.
